Bells Cherry Stout pours an oily dark brown with red highlights. Very little, to no head.
Smells almost wine like with a bit of malts.
Starts off like a very tart cherry with a more malty coffee aftertaste with a little of the cherries hanging around still. Though, as the temperature rises, as does the chocolate taste. Very astringent for a stout.
Not bad… not my favorite Bell’s by far though.
